Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25-ounce) box cake mix, of your choice
  • 1/2 scant cup vegetable oil or 7 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • candy pieces or chocolate chips, optional, of your choice, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.

Step 3 -In a large bowl, stir the cake mix, the oil, and the eggs until combined.

Step 4 -Optionally, cover the dough and refrigerate until somewhat set, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 5 -Using a medium scoop or a spoon, scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 6 -Top the dough scoops with the candy pieces.

Step 7 -Bake until the cookies are set, about 9-11 minutes. Do not let them brown.

Step 8 -Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes.

Step 9 -Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 10 -Serve.
