That's what Hot Potato Dip is all about — it's an incredible snack that's ready in an incredibly short amount of time! Unlike the game it's named after, you will not want to pass Hot Potato Dip off to anyone else!

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) container cottage cheese
  • 1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (1-pound) package bacon, cooked and chopped, divided
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar, shredded, divided
  • 2 heaping tablespoons chives, chopped, divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • waffle fries, optional, to taste, cooked and hot, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 -In an oven-safe baking dish, add the cottage cheese, the sour cream, 3/4 of the chopped bacon, 1 1/4 cups of the cheddar, 1 tablespoon of the chives, the black pepper, and the garlic powder and stir to combine.

Step 3 -Top the cheese mixture with the remaining cheddar and the remaining bacon.

Step 4 -Bake until the cheese mixture is bubbly and melted, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 5 -Transfer the dip from the oven and top it with the remaining chives.

Step 6 -Serve with the waffle fries.
